X-rays are a non-invasive medical test used to image almost any part of the body to diagnose and treat medical conditions. They are the most common and most widely available examinations.
An x-ray examination can take from 5 – 20 minutes to complete depending the type of x-ray requested. You do not need to book an appointment for an x-ray, however during busy periods there may be a short wait. There is no preparation required to have an x-ray and there are no after effects.
