A BMD is an examination that uses a special machine to scan for assessment of possible osteoporosis or reduced bone density. The scan can take up to 15 minutes to complete.
A Medicare rebate may be claimed, but under strict circumstances. You may be required to pay a fee at the time of consultation, however this will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
